1、Conference Introduction

The 2025 IEEE 8th International Conference on Data Science and Information Technology (DSIT 2025) will be held from November 14 to 16, 2025, in Beijing, China. The conference is hosted by Beijing Technology and Business University and organized by its School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. It is co-sponsored by IEEE, the IEEE Communications Society, and the International Society for Computer Applications and Technologies.
At the upcoming conference, renowned professors in the academic field will share the latest innovations and research achievements in data science and information technology. The event will primarily feature keynote speeches by distinguished experts and peer-reviewed paper presentations by authors. Additionally, social activities or academic visits will be arranged for participants to facilitate communication, discussion, and collaboration among researchers in the field.

4、Publication and Indexing
Accepted papers will be included in the DSIT 2025 conference proceedings, published by IEEE. All published papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, and CPCI (ISTP).
For the previous seven editions of the conference, all accepted papers have been successfully published, with 100% of them indexed by EI Compendex and Scopus approximately one month after publication! Professor Witold Pedrycz
University of Alberta, Canada
(IEEE Life Fellow)
Professor Witold Pedrycz (IEEE Life Fellow) is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada, and also holds a position at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Dr. Witold Pedrycz is a Foreign Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He has received numerous awards, including the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Norbert Wiener Award, the IEEE Canada Computer Engineering Medal, the European Centre for Soft Computing Kahest Soft Computing Award, the Killam Prize, the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award, and the 2019 IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Outstanding Contribution Award. His main research areas include computational intelligence, granular computing, and machine learning.

Professor Qing Li
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China

Professor Qing Li is currently the Head of the Department of Computing and a Chair Professor of Data Science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been actively engaged in academic research, serving as an Associate Editor and reviewer for several technical journals. He has also organized or co-organized numerous international conferences and has been a member of the program committees for over 50 international conferences (e.g., VLDB, ICDE, WWW, DASFAA).
Professor Li is a Fellow of IEEE and IET/IEE, a member of ACM-SIGMOD and the IEEE Data Engineering Technical Committee. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Web Society and has been a member of the executive committees of the IEEE Hong Kong Computer Chapter and the ACM Hong Kong Chapter. Additionally, he is a committee member of the Database Technical Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the CCF Big Data Expert Committee, as well as a steering committee member for DASFAA, ER, ICWL, UMEDIA, and WISE.

Professor Henry Leung
University of Calgary, Canada

Dr. Henry Leung is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, Canada. Previously, he served as a Defense Scientist at the Department of National Defense (DND) of Canada. He has published over 300 journal papers and 250 peer-reviewed conference papers in the fields of signal and image processing, data mining, information fusion, machine learning, the Internet of Things, and sensor networks, and holds more than 15 patents. Dr. Leung is the Editor-in-Chief of Springer's "Information Fusion and Data Science" book series and has served as an Associate Editor for several international journals. Dr. Henry Leung is a Fellow of IEEE and SPIE.

Professor Zhengyi Zheng
The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China
Professor Zhengyi Zheng is currently a Professor and Division Head of Computer Science in the School of Computing and Data Science at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He also serves as a Steering Committee Member of the HKU Jockey Club Institute of Data Science and an Academic Advisor to the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education. From 2022 to 2024, he served as the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at HKU. His research focuses on data science, large-scale graph data analysis, and uncertain data management. Professor Zheng was honored with the AI 2000 Most Influential Scholar Honorable Mention in the field of databases in 2023 and 2024. In 2023, he also received the ACM Distinguished Member Award and the HKU Outstanding Graduate Supervisor Award. He was listed among the Top 2% of Scientists worldwide by Stanford University in 2022.

Professor Yu-Wang Chen
Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK
Professor Yu-Wang Chen is currently a Professor of Decision Sciences and Business Analytics at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), University of Manchester. From 2021 to 2023, he served as a Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute. His research focuses on decision science, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, with broad applications in business analytics, maritime logistics, risk analysis, and healthcare decision support. He has published over 80 high-impact journal papers, 5 monographs/book chapters, and 20 conference papers. As Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or Co-Investigator (Co-I), Professor Yu-Wang Chen has led or participated in numerous research and industry projects funded by Innovate UK, the Turing-Manchester Fund, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with total research funding exceeding £2 million.

Professor Yingwah Teh
University of Malaya, Malaysia
As a computer scientist and data mining expert with 35 years of outstanding achievements, Professor Yingwah Teh has demonstrated exceptional leadership, expertise, and foresight in the field. Starting as a junior computer programmer in 1988, Professor Yingwah Teh advanced to become a Professor of Data Mining at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, achieving significant contributions to the industry throughout her career. Professor Yingwah Teh holds advanced degrees from Oklahoma City University and the University of Malaya. She has published over 90 academic papers in top-tier journals, with her research achieving notable H-index scores and citation counts in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. She has supervised numerous students at various levels, with several PhD graduates now employed at top-tier companies such as IBM, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google. Her core research areas span interdisciplinary fields, including data warehousing, data mining, deep learning, the Internet of Things, activity recognition, wearable sensors, accelerometers, arrhythmia analysis, electrocardiography (ECG), premature ventricular contractions, multivariate time series, edge computing, task scheduling, data streams, mobile computing, speaker verification, language recognition, clustering algorithms, MapReduce frameworks, stock market prediction, and sentiment analysis.

Dr. Fanlin Meng
University of Exeter, UK
Dr. Fanlin Meng is currently a Senior Lecturer in Operations and Analytics at the University of Exeter Business School, where he also serves as the Impact Director for Operations and Analytics. Previously, he held academic positions at the University of Manchester and the University of Essex. Dr. Fanlin Meng's research focuses on energy markets, carbon trading markets, smart energy and transportation, machine learning, game theory, and optimization. With his strong interdisciplinary background, his work has been published in top-tier journals across multiple fields. Dr. Fanlin Meng is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), a peer review member of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), and a Senior Member of IEEE.

8、 Submission Guidelines
(1) The official language of the conference is English. All papers must be written in English.
(2) Authors must strictly adhere to the conference template when formatting their papers (it is recommended to replace the content in the template directly).
(3) Papers must be at least 3 pages in double-column format.
(4) The review cycle is approximately 3-4 weeks.
(5) Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and must not involve plagiarism or multiple submissions.
(6) The paper template can be downloaded from the official website.
(7) Notification of acceptance will be provided within 3-4 weeks after submission. For faster reviews, results may be available within 1-2 weeks. Early submission is encouraged for early review and notification.
